The VEVA II | A New Light collection revisits Veva de Lima, a Portuguese writer and socialite. She was known for her free spirit and non-conformist attitude in Lisbon society during the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.
Veva de Lima first appeared in an Aldeco collection in 2024. Now, she returns through a contemporary interpretation inspired by the animal kingdom, with references to swans, butterflies and leopards. These motifs create distinctive interior schemes and bring fresh interior decorating ideas to expressive decorative fabrics.
SMARTER SET 2026: Performance Fabrics for Hospitality Interiors
Alongside VEVA II, SMARTER SET 2026 addresses the technical needs of hospitality interiors. Its fabrics combine design versatility with performance features for contract projects, including fire safety, acoustic comfort, light control and thermal performance.
In particular, fire-retardant fabrics play an important role in hospitality projects. Their specifications must meet the relevant fire-resistance standards and project requirements.
